Canadian Power and Sail Squadron

CPS is a  nationwide organization emphasizing boating safety, power and sail navigation and offering accredited boating courses. Since 1938, the volunteer trainers of Canada's largest association of boating enthusiasts have offered safe boating courses across Canada.

CPS is made up of hundreds of local squadrons across Canada, each with its unique values and memberships - but working towards the common goal of increasing safety and enjoyment on the water.

Training and certification is based on standardized course materials, and provides education on the rules, regulations and etiquette of pleasure craft boating in Canadian (and International) waterways.

Individual squadrons , and districts, also organize a variety of social events, from cruises, dinners, informational tours, seminars, and much more - all bringing together people with similar interests and objectives.
